Department of History Background

The department of History was started in our college during the year 1979. History was taught as major and minor subject from 1979 to 1990. . History is one of the popular and relevant subjects in our college Shri.V.H.Biradar was pioneer faculty AShree A.G.Davalagimath joined the department in the year 1980. Now they are retired. Now Shree H.R.Honnalli has joined in 2016. Presently Shree H.R.Honnalli leads the department of history. The work load of the department at present is 20 hour per week. At present 307 students are enrolled in this department.
